Many memories of Chris. Chris and I were school mates for many years in the Flatland's school. The memories are too numerous to mention here. 
But the memory I do have is that of a frined, classmate and fellow Flatlander.  It saddens me to think of his passing, so young, far too early to leave us but he will certainly live on in the memories of those who knew him. When I think of my formative years of life, Chris was certainly apart of them. Rest in peace Chris....one day we will all be together again.


If only we could turn back the hands of time.  Our love ones would be with us once again. Memories are all we have to hold and cherish.  I remember Chris fondly in my early years, especially at the Flatland school.  If only we could go back, just for a few moments. How happy we could be again. My deepest sympathies to Chris' family. He was a part of my life in those early years and that time helped to shape the person I have become.  I will always remember you, R.I.P my friend.....

So sad to hear of Chris' passing.  Such a caring man.  He was so easy to talk to and always smiled.  We had many conversations about our love of world travel.  I had the pleasure of knowing him through work at IOC In Labrador City.  Chris, You will be greatly missed.

I only knew Chris for a short time. We met when he became my team leader at IOC. I took an INSTANT liking to the man! He was more than a boss to me, he was my friend. He is one of the nicest, kindest, genuine people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I truly consider myself lucky that I did know him. My heart, and my prayers go out to his family and friends. Thinking of Family during this tough time. My husband and I both had the pleasure of working with Chris. His personality could light up and room! When he told a story in the lunchroom all ears were open and all eyes were on him. It was such a pleasure to have known this man. We were lucky to have known and worked with a person such a Chris. He will not be forgotten!

Chris and I grew up much like brother and sister.  Because we were only children maybe and when I look back, he was so much apart of every memory.  We played,  we certainly fought, he teased me endlessly but isn't that what brothers do?  He went away to King's and actually wrote me letters!  I still have them!  I especially cherish the one where he told me he could tell me anything because I was just like his sister.  He was part of my wedding party. Then as happens in life,  we had our own families and we didn't see each other as much but kept in touch through Joyce. Out of the blue two years ago, an email appeared in my mailbox ... from Chris!  I am so grateful that we were in touch again,  but oh how I wish we could have seen each other again.  Chris will always remain in my heart ... Rip my brother,  my friend. Even though I only saw Chris on visits to Flatlands over the years I felt he was like my brother -in law as he and Cathy were like siblings. I can vividly and fondly remember being awakened in your living room at 3 am the night before Cathy and I were wed. Chris was reading the passage from the bible that he had to read later in the day,beer in one hand bible in the other. I smile  every time it pops in my head
Chris went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time.Both he and Marina left us with memories that will remain with me forever.The kindness they showed to complete strangers in 1974 (myself, brother and sister-in law)will remain with me.
He is at peace with John now, God bless all the family,
