Brett was born in Hamilton Ontario January 25, 1948, the son of Noble Harrison and Hattie Harrison (nee Boland) both pre-deceased him, also his wife Christine Harrison (nee Kerton). He is survived by his son Jeffrey of Toronto and daughter Shelley of Mashram Quebec. His common-law-spouse of 27 years Patricia Duffield (nee Currie) His sister-in-law Barbara McCormick (Terry) brother-in-law David Kerton (Cindy), many nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by Jeremy Duffield (Jen) and Nicholas Duffield.
Brett attended MM Robertstone School in Burlington Ontario and did his apprenticeship as a Machinist at Wing and Sons in Hamilton Ontario. Later moving to Ottawa where he was employed by Taggart Construction for 18 years thereafter opening his own machine shop in Carp Ontario for the next 10 years, and upon retiring, relocated to Tide Head with Patricia. Brett was a very enthusiastic car racer, he loved his Dragon Master dragster, he and Patricia would drive through the night going to drag races in many of the racetracks in United States and also in Quebec at Sanair and Napierville.
Brett left behind wonderful and great memories.
At Brett’s request there will be no visitation or funeral, celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted in the care of Maher’s funeral Home, Campbellton.
