Adrian Brown

He was the son of the late Francis Brown and the late Mary McKay.

He will be sadly missed by his present wife Alida Bérubé, (Léveillé-Brown), his two sons Adrian C. (Carmen), Arthur J. Brown, both from Toronto, ON and his half-sister Theresa Waugh, from Leominster, Mass. (USA), his step-children Guy Léveillé (Diane), Louise Léveillé (Marc), Hélène Martin (Marcel), Gisèle L. Walters (Ernest), Marthe L. Richard (Stéphane), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marie I. Landers and his son Owen.

He was a dedicated teacher, supervisor and principal in different NB school districts.

Funeral service will be held in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton, NB on Friday October 25th at 11:00.

Visiting hours will be held at Maher’s Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday October 24th and on Friday morning from 9:30 am until departure time for the funeral at the St-Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton, NB.

The family would like to thank the Moncton Briarlea staff for their wonderful care.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation of the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

M. Adrian W. Brown, né le 2 mai 1932 à Sydney en Nouvelle-Écosse, est décédé à L’Hôpital de Moncton, le 18 octobre 2019, à l’âge de 87 ans.

Outre son épouse, Alida Bérubé (Léveillé-Brown), il laisse dans le deuil ses deux fils, Adrian C. Brown (Carmen) et Arthur J. Brown, tous deux de Toronto, ON; sa demi-sœur, Theresa Waugh de Leominster, Mass. (EU); Guy Léveillé (Diane); Louise Léveillé (Marc); Hélène Martin (Marcel); Gisèle L. Walters (Ernest); Marthe L. Richard (Stéphane); plusieurs petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants. Il a été précédé dans la tombe par son épouse, Marie I. Landers, son fils Owen et ses parents, Francis Brown et Mary McKay.

Il a marqué plusieurs personnes pendant sa carrière en éducation en tant qu’enseignant, conseiller en pédagogie et directeur d’école.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église St-Thomas Aquinas de Campbellton, N.-B., le vendredi 25 octobre à 11h00.

Les visites seront au Salon Funéraires Maher, 33, rue Lansdowne, Campbellton, N.-B., le jeudi le 24 octobre de 19h00 à 21h00, puis le vendredi 25 octobre, de 9h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

Nous remercions sincèrement le personnel du foyer Briarlea de Moncton pour leurs soins dévoués auprès d’Adrian.

Des dons à la société Alzheimer du N.-B. ou à la Fondation des Amis de la Santé de l’Hôpital Régional de Campbellton seraient appréciés par la famille.
