He was predeceased by his mother Norma and father Ross Duncan and his brother Bob Duncan. He is survived by his daughter, Brianne Grinter (Ben), son, Derek Shackleford (Meipsy) and two beautiful grandchildren, Cameron and Freya Shackleford, who will miss him dearly.
Terry was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta and spent most of his later life in the Lundbreck and Pincher Creek area, before retiring to Vancouver Island, B.C. in 2009. Terry loved to spend his time fishing off the West Coast, in Tahsis and Ucluelet, with his son Derek and daughter-in-law Meipsy as well as teaching his grandchildren all the tricks of being a good fisherman. He was very talented in his artwork, making cedar signs and painting pictures of nature. He also enjoyed designing and building a number of beautiful homes that he and his family lived in.
His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, enjoying nature and music. He also treasured, and was truly grateful for, all the Earth Angels, his friends, that crossed his path in his lifetime.
He will be watching over all of us, flying free of any physical encumbrances and meeting up with loved ones that have gone before, including pets that he loved so dearly, and taking in all that the Heavens have to offer.
FLY FREE OUR DEAREST PA, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!
