It is with great sadness that we share that Shane passed away in Campbell River at the age of 46. Shane was a force of nature, full of life and love. He brought joy and enthusiasm to everything he did.
He was a star athlete in school setting many track and field records that still hold to this day.
Shane loved the water and was an avid fisherman. He worked on the tugs for years, something he really enjoyed. He was a great golfer and loved the outdoors.
Shane had a larger than life presence with a great sense of humour. He was kind, compassionate, and and thoughtful, always willing to help others.
He adored his family, the apple of his eye was his son Caidyn.
Shane is survived by his mother Diane Scott and stepdad Barrie Scott. His son Caidyn and Caiden's brothers Austin and Tyson; his brother Ryan (Estela); grandma Gay Check and loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
I will hold you close to my heart forever my beautiful Shane.
Rest in Peace Shaners.
We love you, we will miss you Forever
