It is with profound grief and shattered hearts that we announce the passing of our dear
son, brother, cousin, grandson, nephew, uncle, and friend, Ryan. On the morning of
March 13th, Ryan passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with family.
Ryan was predeceased by his Papa John Mullett, Papa Al Hopp, and Papa Tony Henry.
Ryan leaves behind his father, Mike (Sheila) Henry, mother Lori (Cody) Larson, brother
Michael (Genevieve) Henry, sister Kayla (Aaron) Larsson, brother Josh (Shannon)
Henry, brother Seth Henry, brother Jake Henry, Grandparents Carl and Sherrie Larson,
Oma Jean Henry, Grandparents Audrey and John Thompson, Grandma Lynn Deutch,
Grandma Donna Hopp, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and baby nephew
Talmage whom he adored.
Throughout his short life, Ryan saw each day as a gift and lived life to the fullest. Ryan
was a kind, compassionate, and loving young man with a quiet wit and a thirst for
knowledge and connection with others. Ryan had many passions and loved hunting,
fishing, gardening, chasing the sun, going for long drives, visiting family in New
Brunswick, drawing, and having pizza and game nights with his brothers.
What was most important to Ryan was family. Ryan valued spending time and
surrounding himself with loved ones, friends, and his pups Honey and Holly. He loved to
chat for hours on end, hearing stories about the past and sharing new ones. As a child,
Ryan climbed Mount Van der Est with his papa Carl and cousin Garry, where he had
the opportunity to return to recently with his papa Carl and dad Mike. Ryan was very
passionate about being outdoors and always said how much he would love to live off
the grid, up a mountain somewhere where he could enjoy nature.
Ryan's strength and bright outlook on life has taught us all to share this perspective and
to appreciate each day as it comes. Despite our pain and loss, it is our privilege to
continue to live life in Ryan's honour. Please plant a tree in your favourite place in
memory of Ryan.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday March 24, 2024 at 1PM at the 7th Day Adventist
Church 300 Thulin Street, Campbell River.
