Phillip was born in Campbell River on Jan 22, 1970 to his parents Daniel & Dorothy Gibbons. He arrived early with many medical challenges, weighing in at just under 2 lbs.
With great care at Children’s Hospital in Vancouver Phillip came home to his parents, brother Mike & sisters Jennifer and Sylvia.
In 1996 Phil moved to the newly built Jesmar House to be loved by his family of caregivers.
Phillip loved people, music, and good nap. He was easy to please and a joy to be around, and he lived a happy life.
Many thanks go to the amazing staff, friends and musicians that frequented Jesmar Place that took the time to make Phil’s life happy and comfortable.
Phil is survived by his sisters Sylvia Gibbons (Ian) and Jennifer Charest (Marc)
We will miss you Phillip and will carry you in our hearts everyday.
Due to Covid-19 a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
