Kathleen "Maree" MacPherson

It is with very heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Maree. She passed away peacefully on October 1, 2021 with her family by her side. She is survived by Daughter Evelynn(Ken), Sisters-Teena(Micky) and Norma, Brother-Bill, Brother in laws-Murdock(Pearl), Bev(Betty), Grandchildren-Delilah(Todd), Darla(Dave) and Kendra, great grandchildren-Makaila, Braxton, Dominic, Joey, Luka and Chloe. Maree touched so many lives in her travels. From Fort Smith to Whitehorse, Dawson and finally to Calgary. She Served in the Canadian Forces as a Radar Operator, had two children (Evelynn and Gordon), was the President of the Bowness Legion # 238 and was employed by the City of Calgary for a number of years, only to leave it ALL behind to become “Geritol Gypsies” with George for 20+ years. Her and George with failing health had no choice but to finally settle down in Lake Country and she eventually moved to Campbell River. She was a Mother to so many and a friend to all that knew her. As sad as it is to say goodbye…she’s with “Her Honey” George, Son Gordon and numerous friends and family that have passed. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts as “Your Sprinkle Angel”
