In his 65th year, John passed away comfortably at Campbell River Hospital with his family by his side.
He will be sadly missed by his dear wife, Annemarie; his sister Patricia (Dave); his brother Kevin (Sharon); his nephew Jamie, and his nieces Laura, Angela (Dan), Nicole and Emily; and brother-in-law Rick and Mother-in-law Dora.
He left close friends behind in Ontario; but met new and loving friends in Campbell River over the past five years: he appreciated you all.
John carried the burden of his mesothelioma cancer for two years much as he faced life in general: with humour, openness and courage. We thank Dr Marsh for his guidance and support.
In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no service.
