He was predeceased by his parents (Pioneers of CR) Jim & Ethel, and is survived from his wife of 22 years Lorna (Matthews), stepdaughters Lorean, Sherry, Mindy (Remco), Rachelle (Jason. Grandchildren Brennan, Tristen, Rheanon, Rylan, Haydon, River, Trinity and James.
He also leaves behind his sister Heather (Norm), niece Abbie, nephews Ty, Archer and Jack. Brother John and his stepdaughters Kim, Nicole (Clint), grandchildren Matthew, Erin, April and Allie.
George became a well respected business man’ Stan’s Bulldozing with his forever friend Alec Wood, to GJR Trucking (owned and operated) and anything that had to do with logging and equipment, his name was on it, and that’s just to name a few.
His prize possession was his 1948 Mack Truck he restored himself, and just having a conversation with the boys ‘perhaps making another deal’ was always the best day for him. He leaves us all with happy memories, legacy of respect, pride & dignity and his sharp sense of humour that we will cherish forever.
