Born in Lloydminster, AB 1933. Moved to Chilliwack, BC in 1941 where she met her husband, made many friends and raised her family.
Early on she worked for Brooks Electric doing the accounting. She also worked many years at Mary Street Medical.
Betty passed peacefully at home with family at her side. Predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Harold Brooks. Survived by her brother Gordon Shufflebothom, 2 children Stuart (Lynn) Brooks, Barb (Todd Mair) Brooks, 4 grandchildren Matt Brooks (Shelly), Theresa Brooks-Dey (Ryan), Blair Davies (Laila) and Leanne Davies (Brian Howland), and 8 great-grandchildren.
She cherished her friends and family and she will be greatly missed by all.
Mom/Granny/Aunty we love you and will miss you always.
