Thelma J Fishel

Thelma J. Fishel (Michaels), 86, previously of New Cumberland died peacefully March 6, 2024 at Camp Hill Skilled Nursing and Rehab Camp Hill, PA. She was born in Harrisburg PA to the late John and Dorothy Michaels (Demy). She was the widow of Melvin P. Fishel Jr to whom she was married for 55 years prior to his passing and was preceded in death by a son, Melvin P. Fishel III (Gail) and a grandson Eric M. Fishel of Colorado.

Thelma spent most of her working career as a private duty care giver. She was a member of the Camp Hill Church of Christ and Resident Counsel President at her nursing home. She loved bingo, arts and crafts and Elvis but her biggest loves were her family and friends and church.

She is survived by two sons, John E Fishel Sr., York Haven PA, Jeffrey L Fishel (Joan), New Cumberland PA and a daughter, Wanda M. Seibert, Harrisburg PA. Nine grandchildren, John Jr, Tonya, Shannon, Lester Mathew, Jeffrey, Jason, Codi and Emmi. Fourteen great grandchildren Dylan, Liam, Melina, Brantley, Braxton, Hunter, Gage, Aviana, Ivy, Lucas, Carson, Gavin, Kyle and Shelby.

Viewing and Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday March 15th, 2024 at Neill’s Funeral Home, Camp Hill, PA. Interment will be at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, at noon following the service.
