She was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters.
Her last years were spent at the Transitions Healthcare Allen’s Cove center in Duncannon. Before that, she lived in Wila, PA and Mechanicsburg, PA. Born in Juniata County, she spent her early years in Juniata and Perry Counties.
Lillian is survived by four children—Dallas Reisinger and wife Vivian, Delcena Byers, wife of Larry Byers, Vicky Burkholder, wife of Robert Burkholder, and Jack Reisinger and wife Beverly. She also had seven grandchildren — Delfina (Nathan), Delli, Karen (Scott), Jeff (Jeannine), Megan (Eric), Matthew, and Philip. There are also eight great-grandchildren: Taylor, Blaze, Luke, Alexander, Aurelia, Penny, Eli, and Isabel.
Lillian was a master knitter and everyone in the family was the grateful recipient of her beautiful afghans, sweaters, and more. Shouts of “Sweater Box” were often heard at birthdays and holidays and she won multiple blue ribbons in the Perry County Fair for her work.
In addition, she was incredibly talented at baking and decorating cakes. From simple birthday cakes to fancy wedding cakes for family, she made us all feel special. And her door decorations at holidays won her several prizes for their artistry and beauty.
She was someone who had an eye for beauty and it showed in everything she did for the family.
