He was born in Cumberland, Maryland, on June 30, 1937, to the late John Arthur Stull and the late Mary Dorothy Stull. John's life was marked by hard work, service, and a love for the outdoors.
Following high school, he served his country with pride in the Army National Guard while also contributing to the workforce at National Jet Company. He later moved to central Pennsylvania and made his mark at Berg Electronics before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey, founding the successful business—Stull Tool and Grinding.
In his retirement years, John cherished the outdoors and embraced activities like skiing, hiking, biking, and gathering around campfires. Family trips and vacations were always filled with laughter as he found "short-cuts" that created lasting memories. His generous spirit extended beyond family, as he willingly helped friends and neighbors in times of need.
John leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Susan, his brother David Gerard Stull of West Virginia, and his children: Cinnamon Curtis (Craig), Christy Miller (Scott), David Stull (Holly), and John Stull (Adriane). He also cherished his beloved grandchildren—Summer, Ashley, Ben, Laura, Lena, Lyla, and Loralei. Preceding him in death was his sister, Dorothy Simmons.
Those who knew John will remember his gentle nature, warm smile, and deep love for life and family. The countless memories, laughter, and stories shared over the years will be cherished during a private family Celebration of Life.
