Edward was born July 20, 1935 in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania to the late Clement and Anna (Halama) Patrick. In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his wife Jean of 49 years and is survived by his two sons; Edward Patrick Jr. (Peggy) and Jeff Patrick (Charity), grandchildren; Jennifer Dixon (Chris), Steven Patrick, Roman Patrick and Gianna Patrick, great-grandchildren; Jack Dixon and Andrew Dixon. He is also survived by his brother Mike and was preceded in death by his sisters Marie Katch and Joan Bendinger.
He was a 1953 graduate of Mount Carmel Catholic High School and a 1957 Graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. He was employed as a yearbook publishing representative by Taylor Publishing Company & Balfour for 40 years before retiring.
Ed was an avid Penn State Football fan and was a frequent flyer to Walt Disney World with family and friends when given the opportunity. Most importantly, Ed was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He loved his friends and family dearly and they did the same in return.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3435 Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011. A visitation for Edward will take place before the service at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will occur at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1313 S York Street, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17055.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests making donation to a charity of your choice in Ed’s honor-and-raising a glass at dinner in celebration of his life and legacy.
