Barry L. Metzger Sr.

Barry L. Metzger Sr., 71, of Enola, passed away Wednesday October 24,2012 at Holy Spirit Hospital.

Born July 15, 1941 in Harrisburg, he was the son of William H. and Sarah (Lowery) Metzger. He was preceded in death by his first wife Doris Hammaker and three brothers William, Richard, and Lowell (Buddy).

Barry retired after twenty eight years of service with the former Shaull Heavy Equipment Inc. He was a member of Summerdale United Methodist Church ; Barry enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and had a passion for working with wood ,making furniture and lawn ornaments.

Surviving are his lovely wife of thirteen years Lydia E.(Kowalski) Metzger. Two sons Barry L. Metzger Jr. of Enola and Bradley E. and wife Tammy Metzger of Lewistown; seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two brothers Chris and Allen Metzger.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am , Tuesday October30,2012 in Neill Funeral Home 3401 Market Street Camp Hill Pa. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to time of service. Burial will be Friday November 2, 2012 in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Harrisburg PA.
