Verna Belle Peer

Peer, Verna - With sadness and heavy hearts the family of Verna Peer announce her passing at the age of 80 on April 23, 2015 in Cambridge. Now in the arms of her soul mate, Don, who predeceased her in 1991 and her son, Colin (2003). Loving and devoted mother to Brian, Ken (Patti), Keith (Maria), Sherry (James) and Susan (Brad). Dearest grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Verna will forever remain in the hearts of her brother, George, sisters, Beatrice and Marion, friends and family.

A Visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Verna's name would be appreciated by the family.
