So sorry for the loss of Susan our dear friend. Although some of you may not know me / I was a grade school friend and high school friend there were 14 of us.  we went to every birthday party and did alot of everything.  Her cousin Jane Mc Crudden made 8us laugh so much.  We would laugh at anything and everything.  She is missed by all. Love Doris (Dory) Meyer, now Horst Rest in Peace our friend.

It was always a joy popping down to the Allan Reuter Centre, where Susan worked, and touching base with Susan.  An infectious personality with a positive attitude that resonated with everyone Susan came in contact with.  She has left us way too soon .  My prayers are with you at this most difficult time.😢😢

Susan was always so much fun and a genuine person. She was kind and generous with her family and loved to laugh. And what a hearty laugh that was! I have fond memories of silliness with champagne at a Maple Tarts gathering when we shared teenage memories of Preston and our huge family, summers in Port Elgin and dinners with our cousins. (Maple Tarts) 

Susan was so proud of her family and loved to tell us about little Ava and the conversations she had with her. We last heard a story about "hot dogs" which might make a few people smile!

This is a difficult time for you all and hard to imagine how you will cope with this void in your lives. Take comfort in the happy memories of Susan and know that you are in our minds at this sad time. I will see you all at Susans' celebration of life when the craziness ends.

I volunteered at the Allan Reuter Centre on reception and enjoyed Monday mornings with Susan, often discussing Sunday dinners with her family to whom she was  very committed. She was so very kind to her father, loved her children and granddaughter very much.  She often spoke of a group of lifetime friends that met at the cottage as well as Christmas shopping in the States.  Susan's family and many friends, brought her extreme happiness. My Aunt Sue was a beautiful spirit who judged no man based on his or her past.  She loved all whom she cared for and met, she welcomed so many of us crazy Hickey’s into her heart.  She always had an infectious laugh and greeting for you when you met her.  Whether at work, home or the cottage she was the consummate hostess, we all loved her many treats and food.  My heart is broken that she is gone so early in her journey, but she lived every, every moment to the fullest.  Her beautiful family is a testimony of that.  She is a loss that the Hickey family will miss for years, but will remember with fondness at the same time.  Until we meet again Aunt Sue...  nephew Jason

Susan was remarkable woman loving caring always a kind word. My brother John Myckan and myself have known the entire Renner family our entire lives we grew up just down the road from each other‘s and shared many fun memories together. My son Andrew and Cory became best friends in kindergarten and never grew apart. Susan will be greatly missed and remain in our memories  forever. Our entire family is sharing the loss of Sue. We love you all. Our greatest sympathy Tom, Joanne, Andrew (Jennifer) and Allison (Mike). 

Will cherish our many work functions.  Sue was always so much fun. We continued as freinds throughout the years. I know she faught hard and cherished every day with her family.  My deepest condolences.  She will never be forgotten as she touched so many.  

I met Sue a couple times, attending functions when David & Randy got married.  Each time she and I had wonderful conversations, I felt like I had known her for years.  So sorry to hear of her passing, during this very difficult time in our history. Deepest condolences to the entire family. Some day , I hope, I will hug you.  

I hadn't seen Sue much in our later yrs. but we sure had fun times when we were younger. I will treasure those memories always. I was sad to hear of her passing and please accept my sincere condolences to all her family and many friends. RIP Sue.

I am heartbroken to hear about the passing of Sue.  She was a true gem.  I worked with her when she was at Allen-Bradley and her, Cathy Vandervoort and I had so many good times on our weekly Thursday night outings.  We stayed in touch over the years but not like I would have loved to have.  She loved her family and her darling little granddaughter.
