Sarah Alecia Hastings

After a brief illness, Sarah, youngest daughter of Iain and Susan, and sister to Karen (Karma), Nicola (Fraser), and Rebecca, passed away in Halifax, Nova Scotia on February 1st, 2015. Sarah was a vibrant young woman who had graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Cameron Heights in Kitchener and was in her first year at Acadia University. She lived her short life to the fullest and never compromised. She was an incredible athlete and avid canoe tripper and her determination and dedication inspired her friends and teammates. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, Nova Scotia, and at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax. Sarah's family will receive friends at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 1-4pm and 7-9pm as well as on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 12-2 with a funeral service to follow at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.
