Passed after a brief illness at Golden Years, on December 2, 2014 in 79th year. He is survived by his children Brenda Vokey (John), Susan Rego (Fernando), Wayne, Randy, Steven and Rossie Mead, all of Cambridge. He will be remembered by both his first wife Doris and his second wife Nancy. He was proud of his twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and the one on the way. He will be missed by his brothers Wilfred Allen and Daniel Mead. Ross was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Annie May Mead, his brother Gordon and sister Marilyn. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Parklawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
