Ronald Ernest Dumbrell

Died in Cambridge, Ontario November 16, 2016

In 1955 Ron began a 20 year career in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Upon discharge, he purchased and ran the Queen’s Hotel in Cambridge (Hespeler). After 6 years in the hospitality business Ron began a 35 year career as a real estate professional.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by Nancy his wife of 29 years and their children; Lynda, Douglas (BJ), Bradley and Fraser (Nance) and grandchildren; Steven and Anna, Brother; Jim (Deane) Sisters in law; Betty (Tom), Elaine and Hazel (Peter) and numerous nieces and nephews.

His many dear friends will forever remember Ron.

The family extend their sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of Cambridge Memorial Hospital who showed Ron great kindness during his time there. Sincere appreciation with gratitude for all family and friends who called and visited Ron while in the hospital, you brought much comfort and love and will not be forgotten for this.

Ron was a long time member of Rotary International and the Canadian Legion.

Memorial Services will be held at Coutts Funeral Home on St Andrews St in Cambridge, Ontario.

Visitation: Friday, November 25 from 2-4 and 7-9.

Memorial Service: celebrated by Reverend Raye Brown Saturday, November 26 at 2pm with a reception to follow.

Internment: in the Royal Canadian Legion Columbarium in Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, November 28 at 2pm with a reception to follow at the Fort Erie branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
