

Passed away peacefully at his residence in Cambridge in his 61st year. Robert was born to Francis Vardon and Marina (Hardy) on November 28th,1955, Bougainville, Gaspe, Quebec. Robert is survived by his loving wife Dena of 40 years, his adoring daughter Alisha and Paul Dalton. Robert was predeceased by both parents and younger brother Billy (Lena). He will be sorrowfully missed by his remaining siblings; Marlene (Rodney), Susan (Paul), Lorraine (Othon), Wilma (Angus), Janice (Elvis), Gordon (Bonnie), Peter (Lee), Philip (Donna), as well as his many Nephews and Nieces. Also sadly missed by his mother-in-law Olive Leggo and brother and sisters-in-law. He worked at Canadian General Tower for 37 years. Robert was a charming funny, man of character. He believed in being your best self, always lending a helping hand ,the value of friendship, and living every day to its fullest. Robert did everything with passion, he was most loving and loyal husband and father. Robert was a talented craftsman, a skilled woodworker(Intarsia) and an ATV enthusiast. He loved the outdoors, animals, and dogs, especially his little dog Bella. His motto in life was “Never Give Up”, and that he lived true to. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Monday August 8, 2016, from 12 Noon until a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1P.M. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations to Canadian Cancer Society, or Sick Kids Hospital Toronto would be appreciated by the family.
