Bob was born in Chatham, Ontario and served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 – 1945. He loved model railroading, camping, and travelling, and he had his own large offset printing press. One of his many impressive achievements was building an operational Bensen Gyrocopter. Bob was friendly and generous, had an interesting sense of humour, and loved to help others. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion and attended Roseville Church for many years. He was looking forward to heaven, where he is now reunited with his beloved wife Winnifred (2013), son Gordon (1967), and parents Thomas (1981) and Sarah Ethel (1982). Bob will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son Patrick Hanna (Ruth), daughters Christine Frank (Kevin Frank) and Carolyn Crane, grandchildren Becky Lozano, Gordie Hanna, Julie Tovar, Jason Frank, Melanie Gooding, Brandon Frank, Ashley Crane, and Cody Crane, and 12 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and Bob’s urn will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Parklawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life is planned for 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2nd at Roseville Church, 2729 Fischer-Hallman Rd. Visitation will be for one hour before the Celebration and a luncheon will follow, both at the church. There will also be a livestream on the Roseville Church YouTube Channel which can be accessed from their website: www.rosevillechurch.ca or directly @ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClyQaVrnrGPtAqogFz1Qf1Q/featured. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Roseville Church or Future Vision Ministries would be appreciated.
