It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael John William Cooney on August 4th, 2020, after suffering a heart attack outside his home at the age of 60.
Mike will be missed by his son Brendan, his sisters Kelly and Sharon, his brother Kevin, and his soulmate Toni, along with his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones. He’ll be remembered as a die hard Habs fan, a proud Canadian, a stargazer, and a music lover. A Trekkie and Star Wars fan. A loving father, brother, son, cousin, uncle, and friend. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Donations can be made in his name to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
