Marion Jean Kimpel

Marion Jean Kimpel passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Place with her children by her side on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the age of 73. Marion will now rejoin her husband Terry after thirteen years apart.

Devoted mother to her children Laura (Jason Mohns) and Marc. Dear sister to Helen Purdy (2014), Jack Purdy (2018) (Lynda) and Bruce Purdy (Mary). Sister–in-law to Richard Kimpel (Elma) and Scott Kimpel (Julie). Niece to George Brown. Loving Aunt to Kurt, Leslie-Anne (Grant), Luke, Josh and Caleb. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Bernice Purdy, Grandparents Ernest and Margaret Brown and Niece Jennifer Connor. She will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends. Marion truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going out for dinner, playing cards, music and shopping trips. She loved the outdoors, her pets and socializing with old friends and new acquaintances. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at St. Luke’s Place for the care they provided. Visitation will take place at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge) on Thursday, May 2nd from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm with a Funeral Service to follow on Friday, May 3rd at 11:00 am at Coutts Funeral Home. Donations to the Alzheimer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
