With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mother in her eighty-ninth year. Her journey concluded peacefully the end of February 2013 with family by her bedside at St. Luke’s Place, Cambridge. Predeceased by her beloved husband Doug (1989) in their forty-first year of marriage. Wonderful Mum of Pauline (Wayne) Hodgkiss and Susan (Michael) Bell. Loving grandmother of Shelley (Mark) Peters, and Cindy Hodgkiss; great-grandmother of Connor and Tyler Peters. Special grandmother to Heather, Becky and Suzie Rowe. Marion has been re-united with her sisters Jean and Ethel, and brother Angus. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and their families. In later years, Mum especially appreciated the close friendship she shared with son-in-law Wayne. Marion’s family gathered at BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME (519-653-4163) on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. to celebrate her life; a life that reflected her rich love for those close to her and generosity of spirit.
