Maria da Gloria Botelho

Born on June 21, 1931 in Livramento, Sao Miguel, Azores, was called home to the Lord with her family by her side on June 29, 2012 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Joao Botelho. Loving mother of Maria Mitchell (Allan), Margaret Walsworth (Jim), Lucy Maidment (Derrick) and John (Gayle). Maria will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jenny, Cathy, Kim (Vaughan), Nick (Monica), Matthew (Keira), Vanessa, Lindsay, Stephanie, Brittany, Veronica, Allison, Dawn, Cheri and Morgan, her great-grandchildren Madeleine, Mackenzie, Joshua, Charlotte and Sidney and her siblings David Rebelo (Cecilia) and Teresa Machado (Antonio). Predeceased by her parents Manuel and Maria de Jesus Botelho and her brother Antonio (Teresa). Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 8:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory’s RC Church, 10 St. Gregory’s Dr., Cambridge on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at 10:30am followed by burial at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
