Margy Smith

Margy Smith passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Thursday, October 12, 2017 with her family by her side. Anyone who knew Nan knew she loved her family and friends above all else. She was a selfless, loving, classy, and caring woman, but also spunky and feisty at times. Nan taught us morals and life lessons and she was someone to truly look up to. Margy will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughters Judy Bird and Lynn Turcotte (Al), grandchildren Lee Ann (Tim), Jenn (Matt), Jamie (Cam), Lindsay (Ryan), Lori (Ryan), Larissa (Stefan), Sam (Christina), and Chris (Heather), and great-grandchildren Abbygail, Bella, Tony, Beau, Adam, Maizie, Sophie, and Emma. Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life service at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) on Sunday, October 15th at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
