Lorne Allen Struthers

Passed away peacefully, with family by his side on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 93rd year. He is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Eva (2016). Beloved father of Larry (Diana) and Allan (Denise) and proud Grandpa to grandchildren Jennifer (Regis) Dugal, Susie Hegan and Jonathan Struthers, and great-grandchildren Dylan, Aline, Jakob, Brielle, Austin and Cotter. He will also be missed by his siblings; Shirley (Cameron), David (Maridel), Harold (Lorna), Charles (Marlene), Ruth (Lawrence), and Ann (Ken), sister in-law Irma, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by brothers Ross, Stan (Beth), Robert (Lorene) and Donald. Lorne owned and worked at the family business, Struthers Heating/Struthers Contracting for over 50 years. Thank you to the staff at C.C.A.C for their help and support, especially Luba for her compassionate care. Family will receive guests at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Thursday, August 3rd for Visitation from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017, in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial to take place at Parklawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
