Lewis "Lou” Rowe, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the age of 78 at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge.
Lou is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 51 years, Ada Rowe (nee Sheppard). Loving father of daughter Cynthia Rowe in the Cayman Islands, and son Chris Rowe in Cambridge. Proud Poppy of Zachary and Carson Rowe. He is also fondly remembered by his sisters, Effie Humber, and Audrey Butler, and by his brother Israel Rowe, all in Newfoundland. He is predeceased by his sister, Ivy Hand, in Thunder Bay.
Lou and Ada came from Newfoundland in 1968, first to Toronto, then settling in Preston in 1977, where they raised their family.
A private memorial will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in Lou’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society by contacting the funeral home.
