It is with our deepest sorrow to announce the sudden passing of Kieran in his 27th year. Kieran will be forever missed by his mom Caroline her Husband Bill Pearl and sister Makayla and grandfather Gerald Phillips of Cambridge. Dearly remembered by his father Mark Kay and his wife Julie, Tyson, Marcel and Molly of Sarnia and his, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends from across Canada and the United States. Predeceased by his grandparents Dorothy Phillips, Walter and Irene Cunliffe and Fred Kay. Kieran had graduated from Monsignor Doyle and Conestoga College, law and security, police foundations and inducted into the Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame in 2016 for being a member of 2006 Midget Peewee Lacrosse Ontario Champs. Although Kieran had his schooling, the temptation of big money lured him to the Alberta oil fields where he drove tractor trailer which brought other temptations including drugs. Kieran battled addiction and depression before returning to Cambridge where his battle continued with the help of his supportive family. Unfortunately his struggles have taken a fatal toll on such a beautiful son, brother and friend. Memorial visitation will take place at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews Street) on Saturday, May 27 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A memorial service will follow on Sunday, May 28 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel at Coutts Funeral Home. Memorial donations to Simcoe House would be appreciated by the family. Friends and relatives are invited to sign Kieran’s online book of condolences at: www.couttsfuneralhome.com
