After a long battle with cancer, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends at the age of 52. Dear brother to Jean Hawco, Harold and Frazer (Shirley) Miller. Kenneth is predeceased by his parents: Harold (September 9, 2011) and Jean (January 28, 1981), sister Sandra (June 29, 2004), sister-in-law Joyce (2010) and brothers-in-law Fergus (September 17, 1995) and John Heath (December 17, 1984). Kenneth will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his large extended family and his many friends. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street from 5 - 9 p.m. and on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Kenneth will return home to Bell Island and services will be held at Pendergast Funeral Home, Quigleys Line, Bell Island. As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Kenneth's memory to Lisaard House would be greatly appreciated. A very special thank you to all of Ken' s friends who have offered their help and support during Ken's time of need.
