We will always remember Katrina!  Her blazing red hair flying as she drove her convertible….the laugh that she always had….a truly fine lady.  Rest In Peace Katrina…we miss you.

Dearest Katrina. There is no way to adequately sum up our 40-year friendship, nor can I adequately express what that friendship has meant to me all these years. Thank you for your kindness, your unwavering support through good times and bad. Your loyalty as a friend knew no bounds. Katrina, you were a friendly and  smiling  neighbour across Argyle Street for 10 years. We enjoyed many chats about our gardens, the weather (we were  usually complaining) , our grandkids, and anything else that was on our minds at the time.
We miss your smile, your warmth, and your friendship.
You’ve left behind your family and friends way too early, but we all have wonderful memories of a lovely lady in a red convertible!

Dear Kate, it is so hard to say what’s in my heart. When you and Chris moved into our home last December, God gave us one of the greatest gifts we will ever receive. Helping to take care of you in the last weeks was so painful for all of us, especially for you, dear Kate, but it was also a gift which is too hard to describe, it can only be felt.

Dear Katrina...we were so fortunate to get to know you and have you and Chris as tenants in the little house on Argyle Street.  You took such good care of that place and treated it as your own.  We will always remember seeing you drive by in your cute red convertible with your gorgeous curls flying in the wind.  You had a special loving way about you that could turn strangers into the best of friends.  We hated to see you leave as you planned your move . Goodbye Lovely Kate ❤ Laura and I have lovely memories of you when we stayed with you in 2011 . You made us laugh so much and along with Chris gave us a lovely time. We had the pleasure of sharing some special times with Katrina as she bravely battled this terrible illness. She fought the fight but even with her positive outlook it was a fight that only a miracle would see get her through it.  Whilst we all prayed for the miracle, God had other plans for Katrina and on Tuesday afternoon June 18th 2019 he sent His angels to carry her home to eternal rest, a place where pain and suffering does not exist. And in the words of Sweet Katrina I say, night night luvie.

We were great friends in our early years of marriage .  One of our fondest memories was April 3, 1973 at CMH . Jennifer was born April 1, 1973 and Rick & I had twins on April 3, 1973 at CMH. Katrina was in her hospital room and heard our voices in the hall and was waiting for us to come to her room for a visit , not aware that we were there for delivery .  She ( and us) were  unaware that we were having twins and the fact they were 5 weeks early .  Got to spend a few days together with our 3 babies 💕.  Lot of fun times for years to come .
