Passed away peacefully at home in Cambridge, on Monday, August 12th, 2013 with family and friends by his side, after a lengthy battle with heart disease, at the age of 73. Joe is survived by Patricia, his loving wife of 43 years. He was a dear Brother-in-Law to Ross and Deb Cannon and uncle to Emily, Matthew, and Andrew Cannon. Early in his life, Joe was a good friend of George Pratt, and the entire Pratt family and a close friend for almost 25 years with John and Bev Rogerson. He will be missed by the love of his life – his beloved adopted calico cat ‘Elizabeth’.
Cremation has taken place and in accordance with his wishes, no service will take place. Arrangements entrusted to the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME (519) 653-3251. If desired, donations in Joe’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
