Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Ditalina. Dear father of Lidia Gomes (Luis Carlos), Tony Moura and Carmo Moura, all of Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Aaron Gomes (Jacquie) and Nathan Gomes (Molly). Survived by his siblings Jose, Joao, Agostinho, Maria and Ermelinda. Predeceased by his brothers Antonio & Manuel.
Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday (today) from 2-4&7-9 pm.. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Friday evening at 8pm.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 185 Elgin Street South, Cambridge on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 9:30 am.. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
