It is with great sadness that we announce his passing at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, Ontario on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at age 49. Dearly loved son of Don and the late Catherine Schumacher. Loving father of Jami Lynn and best friend and brother to Dennis(Laura) and Trina(Rob). Uncle to Evan, Emma and Jesse and loving companion Laurie Pimentel of Woodstock, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8 (519)-653-3251 to share memories of Danny during a Memorial visitation on Monday April 21, 2014 from 7 – 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Saint John’s Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 11am with visitation at church one hour prior to service time. Reception to follow at the Preston Royal Canadian Legion Branch #126. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
