Passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his family in his 81st year. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Jane Harvie (nee Misener), son D. Bradley Harvie and his wife Heather Harvie (nee Ross), daughter Shelley Gillett (nee Harvie) and her husband Joseph. Proud grandfather to Sarah and David Harvie and John and Zachary Gillett. Predeceased by his parents Clinton and Violet Harvie, his brothers Alex and Howard and sisters Vera Fischer and Leona Zimmerman. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650). A Funeral Service will be held the following day on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Westside Presbyterian Church, 130 Victoria Avenue, Cambridge. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. A special thank you to all neighbours, care givers and Dr. Lawrie for your compassion during a difficult time.
