John Da Costa

It is with great sadness that the family of John Da Costa announces his passing on November 20, 2018 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, after a long battle with Dementia. Devoted husband to Maria Da Costa (nee Lima) for 50 years. Loving father to Kelly Da Costa and predeased by his daughter Louisa Da Costa. Beloved grandfather of Crystal Tavares, Keleeci Da Costa, Ty Kane, and Lee Da Costa. John will be greatly missed by his siblings; Jacinto and Manuel Da Costa and was predeased by his siblings Luis and Jose Da Costa and Gilda Ferreira. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 23 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at COUTTS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Church on Saturday, November 24 at 11am with a visitation from 10-10:45am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Parklawn Cemetery with a reception to follow at Savannah Golf Links- 1206 Cheese Factory Road, Cambridge. Memorial contributions towards Alzheimer's society or Heart and Stroke would be greatly appreciated by the Da Costa family.
