Joan Anne Riddell

Passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, August 4, 2014, in her 84th year. Beloved mother of Wayne Griffin (Leslie) of Kitchener, Scott Griffin of Australia, Sharon Vieira (Gilbert) of Kitchener, Shelley Milmine (Michael) of Woodstock. Loving grandmother of Ashley, Stephanie, Nicole, Lindsay, Jessica, Kayla, Lauren, Kyle, Tyler, Ryan and Kaiden and great-grandchildren Jayden and Mason. Also survived by her brothers George Gage (Camille) of Quebec, Daniel Gage (Janet) of Ontario, and her sister-in-law Rose. Also survived by her extended Riddell family. Predeceased by her husband James Riddell, her parents Lawrence and Mildred Gage, her brother Robert Gage. Joan was born in Montreal on October 7, 1930 and has lived in Cambridge for over 34 years. A member of the Eastern Star Preston Springs Chapter for many years. Cremation has taken place. A service of the Eastern Star will be held on Saturday August 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Doon Presbyterian Church, 35 Roos Street Kitchener, ON., followed by a Memorial service at 11:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
