Jean is together again with her beloved daughter Beverley Jean McConnell (1981) after many years apart. Loving step-mom to Cheryl (Mike) Jarvis, Ruth Ann Watson along with Musgrave and Watson families. Proud Nana to many cherished grandchildren. Jean is predeceased by her first husband Gordon Musgrave (1979), her second husband Gordon Watson (1983), siblings: Wally and Ray Sellars and step-daughter Lenore Musgrave-Eggleston. Jean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. Jean was a hard worker, working tirelessly at Preston Springs and Even Tide nursing homes for many years until opening her home daycare business. Jean adored children and was happy to have the opportunity to care for so many little ones over the years. Children brought Jean so much joy, along with her beloved cats, Horris and Hilda.
In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. Please RSVP in advance by calling 519-621-1650. All visitors are asked to remain in their vehicles until their allotted time. Visitors are also required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
Friends and family are invited to Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Please follow the directions of the funeral home staff upon arrival.
Due to the restrictions concerning COVID-19 a private funeral service will be held and Jean will be laid to rest at Mount View Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Jean’s memory to the War Amps Champ Program, Easter Seals of Ontario, Sunshine Foundation of Canada or any children’s charity would be greatly appreciated as this was something so close to Jeans heart.
