Jean A. Roberts passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in her 95th year at Erie Shores Hospice.
She was predeceased by her parents Mabel and Malcolm Reid, son Gary Lloyd, her first husband Harold Lloyd, and her second husband Sydney Roberts. Jean will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Darlene Luhowy, her brother Denis Reid (Konnie Saliba) of Memphis, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. Born in Brantford, ON, Jean lived in Preston for many years. She moved to Kingsville (Canada’s southern-most town) and resided at Chartwell-Kingsville Court, where she met many new friends. She loved to read, work on puzzles, and spend time at the Lake. She had a special place in her heart for many furry friends. Jean was a member of St. John’s Anglican Church in Cambridge, and the Church of the Epiphany in Kingsville. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be a visitation, and Jean will be interred at Parklawn Cemetery in Cambridge. When it is safe for us to gather once again, a Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church. Donations to the Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
