It is with deep sadness and heavy heart that we announce the passing of James Frances Weiler at his home in Cambridge. He was surrounded by the love of his family on April 1st, 2013 in his 77th year. He is survived by his loving wife Joan. Cherished in the hearts of his children; Mary Eileen (Peter) Ruetz of Mildmay, Jacqueline (Christopher) MacIntosh of Palmerston and Joseph Weiler of Cambridge. Also remembered by his grandchildren; Zachary, Nicole and Rachelle Ruetz. He will also be remembered by his favourite dogs Molly and Roxy. Dearly beloved brother of Kay (Clarence) Martin of Waterloo, Theresa Gallan of Wingham, Helen (Jim) Cummins of Cambridge, Gerald (Pam) Weiler of Cranbrook, BC and Sally (Norm) Keelan of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by the Gadke family; Lloyd (Liz) Gadke, Margie (Andy) Schlesak, Betty Jean (Keith) Quigley, Bryan (Carol) Gadke, Bernice (Ron) Wilson and Bill (Brandy) Jones. He is also remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margret Weiler, his siblings, Christopher, Mildred, Agnes and Mary Eileen (in infancy), parents-in-law; Frederick and Bessie Jean Gadke and sister-in-law Catherine Jones and brother-in-law Frederick Gadke (in infancy).The family will receive friends at BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, for visitation on Friday April 5th, 2013 from 9:30am until 10:30am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, at 11am. Cremation to follow. Spring interment in Mildmay at a later date. Special thank you to the CCAC and Oncology staff along with third floor nurses at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion.
