Passed away November 8th 2019 at the age of 87.
Pre-deceased by her Husband Gil Pinheiro ( Oct 29th 1997) Loving Mother of Mary (Carlos) Gregorio & Joe (Maria) Pinheiro & her Infant son Manuel Fernando Pinheiro who passed at birth.

She was well known for her passion of cooking, making any dish from scratch with just tasting something once. She was filled with energy & enjoyed her travels with her husband across many continents appreciating different cultures & traditions. We all loved her fashion sense making every outfit look timeless & glamorous. She was an acclaimed seamstress always ready to help with heming a pair of paints, adjusting dress or creating from a sketch. Many don’t know that she was an artist at heart, who loved to paint. Helena will be dearly missed by many extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 5 – 8 pm at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge) a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Church (10 St. Gregory’s Drive, Cambridge) on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11 am, burial to follow at Mountview Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
