With sadness the family of Harold announce his sudden passing at Stirling Heights LTC on Wednesday June 19th, 2013 in his 91st year. Born in Belfast, Ireland. Dearly devoted, caring and loving husband to his wife Janet for 60 years. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by his siblings Jim (James), Winnie, Susie, Rita and Betty. Harold had a deep love of music and theatre. He performed and sang many times at the Galt Little Theatre and other venues. He was especially fond of his Irish songs. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at Stirling Heights LTC, 200 Stirling Macgregor Dr, Cambridge, on Thursday July 4th, 2013 at 11am. Inurnment to take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Cambridge Community Players (Galt Little Theatre) or Alzheimer’s Society. A special Thank You to all the staff and nurses at Stirling Heights LTC for the loving and compassionate care that you all gave to Harold throughout his time there.
