Ethan, you were one of my closest friends near the end I understood you and your differences. You were An amazing kid with a huge heart! I'm so sorry I bailed on you the day before you died I'm so so sorry I wish I would've been there. I'll miss you forever and I promise I'll keep an eye on Devon for you.

First time I met Ethan was September 2018. He was with his best friend Destiny Marie and his wonderful brother Devon Simm, we have had so many beautiful people in our life’s and Ethan was one of those people who could make you smile with out saying a word just his smile could give me a million different memories of him. It hurts that Ethan’s gone but to this day I’ll always remember “hey,how you doin” and everything me and him have ever done together 

Ethan was a regular presence and familiar face at the Kitchener Public Library. I hope he knew that the library staff were very fond of him and would watch over him to make sure he was doing alright when he was here. We were so saddened to hear of his passing, and are sending our thoughts and condolences to his family and friends during this very difficult time. 

Ethen my friend I'm so sorry I didn't stick around to make sure you were gonna be alright and I'm gonna have to live with that for the rest of my life. I will always remember you everywhere I go the last year or more we seen each other everyday and you and I joked about each other and people around us we had lots of good times but this isn't one of them I'm gonna miss you alot buddy you take care now it wasn't be long and I'll be there with you until then good bye my friend

Ethan had been wandering out in the bitter cold one night in January 2019, I was out having a cigarette when he had come down the alleyway beside my building,  I called him over and asked why he was out so late and he told me he had no place to go for the night.  It was a frigid night so I offered him to come to my place where he could stay warm for the night on the couch.
We got to chatting for awhile and he had said that it was  his brother Devon's birthday he would boast how much Devon meant to Ethan which gave me an idea.  I had lots of costume jewelry and told Ethan to go through it and see if there was something that he would like that he could give to his brother for his birthday.  There was nothing that Ethan could find that he liked so then i remembered that I had some pocket watches and presented them to Ethan.  I was so thrilled by the way his face lit up and how he thanked me by telling me that I was awesome and nobody's ever done something like that for him he told me how special it was to him and that we would give it to his brother Devon together.
The next day Ethan went to find his brother he was so excited i'll never forget the smile that beamed on his face from ear to ear.  Once he had found his brother he brought him to my place and together we gave Devon the pocket watch.  
I am so grateful for the smallest things that bring joy to someone as special as Ethan and that I had given him something special he could give to his brother on his birthday it was important to show his love .

  There `s  one special memory of Ethan l will never forget we would go too their houses for a visited or supper
    I would bring some kind of goodies pie cake cookies or bars but this one special day comes to mine 
When Ethan grab a cookie ran out side and other time he put his finger into the cake it made me smile & l Laugh 
His parents want too know what was so funny but I never told on him we all did that when we  were kids
He is going to be sadly missed by us all

I cared for Ethan when he was younger and I could always tell if he was telling a fib because he would whine! You will be missed by Aunt Melinda! 

I had known Ethan for two short years when he was a student here at Glenview. He was a kind young man with a heart of gold.  I am forever grateful to have met Ethan and to have worked with him during part of his high school years. Like the rest of the staff at Glenview, I was saddened to hear about Ethan's passing. My condolences to the family. We are grieving alongside you all. 

Ethan was an almost daily presence at St. John's Kitchen as of late. We were deeply saddened to hear about his tragic death.

Ethan will be remembered by us for his kind, gentle spirit. We will miss the small subdued smile he would give when we said hello. We will especially miss the times when he would return our hello in kind (albeit ever so quietly).

We are grieving alongside the many people whose lives Ethan touched.

Ethan, you were such a strong willed and committed young man. You could always be counted on for a thought provoking conversation and I fondly remember the talks we shared.   My heartfelt condolences go out to your family.  To those who's lives you touched, I hope they can find comfort in treasured memories. Rest peacefully. 

Ethan, you will be remembered as a thoughtful and pensive man. You touched the lives of many, and I will think of you often and will always remember your kind heart and cheerful smile. To your family and friends, my most sincere sympathies. Rest in peace, young man.
