Emily Em Ann Snyder Wood

Emily passed away peacefully at Lisaard House, on May 28, 2012 just 18 days after her 41st birthday. Many things to many people, Emily was a mother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, friend, black belt, writer, camper, chef, and Sleeman machine whisperer – and she will be missed. Loving mother of Ewan. Cherished daughter of Nora Snyder, and Bill Snyder and his wife Carole MacDonald. Fabulous sister of Liz (Ali) and Caitlin. Special auntie to Clem. Remembered by her aunt La La, her cousins Susan (Daniel) and Scott (Nancy) and their families. Dearly remembered by step sisters Beth, Patty and their families. Fondly remembered by her former husband Paul Wood, and special friend Lorne. Predeceased by her grandparents Ed and Lib Devitt, Clive and Mildred Snyder, and her uncle Joe Martin. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where a service will be held in the chapel on Friday June 1, 2012 at 11 o’clock. Family interment to be held at Calvary United Cemetery, St. Jacobs. As an expression of sympathy donations to Lisaard House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Lisaard House for their grace and devotion, the family will be ever grateful.
