Eleanor Elsie Wright

Eleanor (Lichty) Wright passed away peacefully at the Wellington Hospice on July 13, 2017 after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure. She was a long term resident of Cambridge with her late husband of 67 years, Cecil Wright. She spent her last 4 years of her life at Arbour Trails Retirement Home in Guelph. Eleanor was the cherished mother of Wayne (Anne) Wright of Guelph and Kristine (Wright) Thompson and the late Bruce Thompson of Minneapolis. She was the beloved Grandmother of Eric (Molly) Wright, Lauren (Raffi) Vartanian of Guelph, Brian (Lindsay) Thompson, Kevin (Kim) Thompson of Minneapolis and great grandchildren Levi and Zachary Wright and Margot Vartanian of Guelph. Eleanor was a member of St. John's on the Hill in Cambridge and donations can be made to her church. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at St. John's on the Hill, 241 Cedar Street, Cambridge on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the church hall. Burial of cremated remains will follow the reception in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
