Douglas Fraser Bateman

Born May 24, 1946 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 after a lengthy illness at the Cambridge Country Manor, in his 68th year. Predeceased by his father Bramwell Bateman Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Billie Bateman, brother-in-law Ross Main and step-father Keith Hyndman. Lovingly remembered by his mother Sally Hyndman. Never to be forgotten by his sisters Sally Main (Gerry) and Mabel Shea (Ed) and his brothers Melvin, Bramwell Jr., Ted and step-brother Brian. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Cory (Regina), Denise (Bernie), Tammie (Dave), Todd, Jamie (Rachel), Brett (Alfreda), Brian (Diane), Julie, Hayley, Michael and Tanya as well as his great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Doug worked at Franklin Manufacture for over 25 years. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Doug’s Life will take place at Riverbend Retirement Lodge, 650 Coronation Blvd., Cambridge in the Third Floor Library on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All Friends and Family are welcome to attend.
