Daniel Patrick MacLean

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Patrick MacLean, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on November 16, 2024, after a brave fight. He was 73 years old.

He will be missed by his heartbroken wife of 46 years, Gail MacLean; his children Dan (Colleen) and Laurie (Emile); and his granddaughter Janey. He also leaves behind his sisters Kathy, Barb (Cliff), Patti (Sean) and brother Mike (Tammy). He will be dearly missed by his in-laws, friends, and coworkers.

Dan was dedicated to his work and family. He was a man of great character, and will be remembered by many for his kindness, integrity and how generous he was with his time, knowledge, and support. He was well respected and impacted the lives of many.

Dan's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 21st from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road. A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, November 22nd at St. Clement's Church. Interment at Mount View Cemetery, 80 Blenheim Road. A reception will follow at St. Clement's Church.
