With profound sadness we announce the passing of Christopher Kevin O’Neill loving son of Lisa and of the late Kevin O’Neill, much loved brother of Jennifer and an adored Uncle of Taylor, Desirae (godfather) and Trenton. Christopher “Chris” was suddenly and tragically taken away from us on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022.
Chris was 41 years young. He loved family first and foremost he especially loved and embraced his role as Uncle. He loved fishing and could bait his own line at the early age of 5. Chris loved to cook and his favorite recipe was one of his dad’s – curry & ‘bakes’, he really got making the ‘bakes’ down to a tee. He had a vivacious personality and made people around him laugh, he made friends everywhere he went. Pets Murphy and Dublin gave him unconditional love and enriched his life, however Dublin, an English Bulldog was his baby. Chris loved making and sitting around a campfire with family and friends and a few bevies.
Predeceased by his dad, Kevin O’Neill, his grandparents Fred and Mary Trenchard, and Desmond and Margaret O’Neill. Uncle John O’Neill, Uncle TG O’Neill, Aunt Brenda Trenchard and Aunt Marie Flynn. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories. Aunts and Uncles: Aunt Carol (Peter) O’Hagan, Uncle Freddie, Aunt Debbie (Ed) Zinnick, Uncle Richard Trenchard (Julie), Aunt Jennifer, Aunt Briege (Gerard) Fegan, Uncle Gerry Flynn. A large circle of relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Coutts Funeral Home, 95 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, Ontario on Tuesday October 11th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Church, 53 Wellington St., Cambridge on Wednesday October 11th at 11:30 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at The Black Badger, 55 Water St. N., Cambridge. One of his favorite places.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Cambridge Shelter Corporation, 26 Simcoe St., Cambridge, ON N1R 8P2.
